About the event

This FREE presentation will provide an overview of inpatient psychiatric treatment in Kentucky, including both voluntary and involuntary care. Topics covered will include the 202A process, patient and family rights, and the typical course of treatment. Also included will be the changing landscape of behavioral health care and alternatives to inpatient treatment.


Speaker Bio

Lindsey Jasinski is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Chief Administrative Officer of Eastern State Hospital (managed by UK HealthCare) and UK's EmPATH unit. She has worked for UK HealthCare in various clinical and leadership roles for 15 years, primarily serving individuals in inpatient settings. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kentucky (2010) as well as a Master's in Health Administration from the University of Kentucky (2021).
