Program Offerings For Psychology Professionals, Graduate and Undergraduate Students

No matter what stage of your psychology career or educational journey you're in the Kentucky Psychological Foundation has something for you.

Leadership Academy

Emerging into the workforce psychologists are equipped with many of the skills needed to be effective healthcare and industry leaders like strong analytic abilities, skills to navigate emotionally challenging situations, and abilities to integrate feedback and understand systems. However, many of us lack formal leadership training and a framework or philosophy - this program can help!

Sponsored by the Kentucky Psychological Foundation and facilitated by The Kentucky Psychological Association.

"Participating in the Leadership Academy helped expand my leadership knowledge and I got to network with amazing psychologists across Kentucky."
-Megan Summers, M.Ed., 2021 fellow

Applications for 2024 are now closed. Stay tuned for future updates!

"If you are thinking about participating - and lets be honest, if you are reading this you are thinking about participating - you should give it a try. You will not be disappointed!"
-Rick Grieve, Ph.D., 2022 Fellow

Leadership Development & Mentorship

The Kentucky Psychological Foundation is a proud sponsor of our sister organization The Kentucky Psychological Associations Leadership Academy and Mentorship Program. These programs offer students and professionals the opportunity to expand their skillsets, network with others in the psychology community, and gain the confidence to succeed wherever their journey takes them.

The mentorship program has served over 90 undergraduate students and paired them with more than 30 graduate student mentors to support them on their path to a graduate program in psychology. Sign up for 2024 today!

Mentorship Program

Launched in the Spring of 2021 this program aims to match graduate students with undergraduate or post-bac students interested in pursuing advanced degrees in psychology. This program promotes diversity in program applicants and helps graduate students develop mentorship and leadership skills. We see immense value in connecting students from across various experience levels and regions of Kentucky as we move into an increasingly virtual space.
